Orders and Shipping

What is your shipping policy?

We currently only ship within the USA.

Order processing time ranges from 3-7 business days (we aim to get your candy out to you as quickly as we possibly can). Orders are then shipped via the method chosen at checkout (USPS Ground Advantage/Priority).

The estimated number of days for delivery given at checkout starts AFTER processing time, once your order has shipped. Choosing Priority shipping does not mean that your order skips the processing line. It means that your order will get to you faster once we ship it.

You will receive tracking information via email when your package ships. Orders are not typically shipped out or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Seaside Sugar Shoppe is not responsible for packages that are damaged or lost in transit, and accepts no liability for any missing/stolen orders if the tracking information shows the order as delivered. The customer is responsible for making sure their delivery location is secure.

All candies have the possibility of melting during warm weather. Seaside Sugar Shoppe does not take responsibility for candy that melts during transit. Please consider purchasing our ice pack/insulated box lining when ordering during warmer weather.

Buyer is responsible for providing an accurate and up-to-date shipping address when placing the order. If an order is returned to Seaside Sugar Shoppe due to incorrect address being provided when the order was placed, customer will be responsible for paying shipping costs to reship the order.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders are shipped out within 1-7 business days. The time it takes for your order to arrive to you after it is shipped out depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout.

Estimates are given at checkout with choosing a shipping method.

How is shipping cost calculated?

Shipping cost is calculated based on the exact weight of your order and where you live. Orders ship from Massachusetts.

Sometimes depending on your location, you are able to order more items without the shipping cost increasing very much, or vice versa. Play around with adding/removing items to and from your cart if you want to get the most out of your shipping.

Typically whatever you are charged is the exact amount that we pay for your shipping label, but if there is ever a situation in which you overpay for shipping, we will refund you the difference.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Meta Pay.

What's your return policy?

Returns/Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we unfortunately can not accept returns or provide refunds on any items. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You can always contact us with any questions/concerns at hello@seasidesugarshoppe.com.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and try our hardest to make it right. 

***Please note that texture/flavor of a candy is not a defect. We take pride in the freshness of our candy, and we rotate through stock very quickly. We sometimes notice slight differences in texture from the manufacturer, and we would never send out anything that we deem unacceptable. Therefore, we can not issue a refund if you dislike the texture/flavor of your candy.

***Seaside Sugar Shoppe is not responsible for melted candy upon arrival. Please be mindful of climate when ordering. 

 

Can I make changes to or cancel my order?

We aim to process and ship orders as quickly as we possibly can.

If you need to make changes or cancel your order, please email us ASAP at hello@seasidesugarshoppe.com.

If your order contains a custom item (Pick 'n' Mix) that has already been prepared, it can not be changed or cancelled.
